What Does Green Tea Do for Us, Exactly?
Green tea use? In other words, what does this drink give us of benefit? Well, green tea is under the microscope and has been found to have many beneficial properties. If you drink just 3 cups a day, you should find a marked number of benefits after a few weeks.
These are some that have been proved scientifically so far:
improvement of the immune system
fighting cell damage that can lead to cancer of different sorts
fighting the aging process
clearing skin lesions such as in acne
helping with weight loss
elevating energy levels
fighting halitosis
aiding digestive activity
lowering of cholesterol levels

One important tip; don't drink the decaffeinated version because it doesn't have as many nutrients as the regular, caffeinated version of green tea.
One of my current favorites is Teavana's Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls. It is a little more expensive but it's worth it. This tea has a great earthy, delicate flavor. Have it with a dash of rock sugar.
