Gorgeous Green Tea Latte...
for making a green tea latte, is to make the tea first and then add the hot milk and froth. Secondly, there are no rules - adjust the ingredients to suit your taste.
Stir this until you have a smooth paste. Steam the milk and pour 6oz into a nice bowl or teacup for serving. Add the matcha tea to the milk. Scoop the frothy milk on the top. Sprinkle with matcha dust or cocoa powder. (You can also use cinnamon if you prefer.)
Add nut or vanilla flvoring to the tea. This will lighten the taste of the matcha powder. Sweeten with honey or agave nectar. Mix the froth, tea and milk all together combining the flavors more thoroughly.
Place 2 teaspoons of matcha green tea powder into a cocktail shaker. Make the matcha into a smooth paste by adding a little hot water to the powder. Stir thoroughly. Fill the shaker with 1 cup of slivered ice. Add 6 ozs of milk (your choice). Shake well. Strain over tall glass with fresh ice. Doesn't that sound delicious?
Add other flavors such as orange juice, lime juice, lemon grass or coconut. Sprinkle a little matcha powder on top. serve with a straw and cocktail umbrella. I hope that you'll love these recipes!
